- Hi, so, I just spend 150 eridium to go from 33 spaces, to 36 spaces. Now Crazy Earl wants to sell me another for 200 eridium. Does it ever end? Or will it just go up by 50 more every time? I'm a pack-rat, so I like having space, but there's a point where I'm not gonna care, if it costs like 100000000 eridium.

I can’t lie, I carry way too many weapons with me at all times, but what can I say.. I like to be prepared.
Patch 1.4.0 for Borderlands 2, released April 2, 2013, added another ammo upgrade for 50 Eridium as well as two additional backpack and bank upgrades available for 50 Eridium and 100 Eridium, each. These are available without the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack DLC.
Luckily, you can upgrade your inventory size by purchasing backpack upgrades in the Black Market.
You’ll find the Black Market on the southeastern side of Sanctuary, outside of Moxxi’s place.
The backpack upgrade is called a Backpack SDU, and it’s always in the right hand slot in the Black Market.
The backpack upgrade costs 4 Eridium, and increases by 4 Eridium every time, but how can you put a price on inventory space?
Easy, you can’t.. it’s worth it, whatever the cost! Don’t judge me..
